Alumna sworn into
U.S. cabinet
Margaret Spellings, a UH alumna, was
officially sworn in as the eighth U.S. secretary of education Monday.
Study seeking campus views
Students may give their opinions on
campus housing in an online survey through the end of the week.
Author says playing by rules is
worth it
The watchdogs are weak. Some are purposely
put to sleep. A plague of poor integrity is infecting everyone from corporate
moguls to Little League sports teams, and author David Callahan is the

Library program provides textbook
alternatives
Although the M.D. Anderson Memorial
Library's program of reserving textbooks for UH core courses is still being
monitored for usage and overall effectiveness, library officials and students
are optimistic about its future.
College architect honored
Students in the Gerald D. Hines College
of Architecture will honor the Architecture Building's designer, Philip
Johnson, during a memorial service this evening.
