Days of top 10 percent may be
done
Texas high school students graduating
in the top 10 percent of their class would no longer have guaranteed admission
to Texas state universities under proposed state legislation.
Folk icon, activist to play UH
on Thursday
Odetta, a famed folk singer and champion
of civil rights, will perform "Songs of Social Change" on Thursday at Cullen
Performance Hall.
Few students trading in parking
permits
Though the deadline for students to
trade their parking permits for less expensive permits is quickly approaching,
only a few dozen students have made the change.
