Increase in Bush's
proposal minimal
In an attempt to ease rising college
tuition, President George W. Bush has proposed raising Pell Grants by $500
over five years -- but that increase may not help students much, a UH official
said.

Board to see new admissions policy
The UH System Board of Regents will
vote Wednesday on a new freshman admissions policy for the University that
would automatically admit the top 20 percent of high school graduates.
UH student sets sights on presidency
Presidential candidates tend to be
everything UH senior Jonathan Hansen is not -- which is exactly why he
will run for president in 2016, the first election for which he will be
constitutionally eligible.
