Campus Spotlight


TODAY

It's the law: Phi Alpha Delta, the co-ed pre-law fraternity, will hold its final rush meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. in the UC's Caribbean Room. Business attire is required for those who are rushing. For members, there will be a regular meeting and a panel discussion on contemporary legal issues.

Hugs and kisses for you: The Gay, Lesbian or Bisexual Alliance will hold an after-Valentine's Day consolation sale featuring hugs and kisses. For more information, visit www.uh.edu/global.

Mix it up: Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society will host an informational mixer at 7 p.m. in The Honors College Commons on the second floor of the M.D. Anderson Memorial Library. For more information, e-mail Zimuzo at

Are you going to Texas Job Fair: The Texas Job Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Jerabeck Center on the University of St. Thomas campus. UH will offer a free shuttle to and from St. Thomas from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., which will depart across from the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center on Calhoun Road. Fiesta preparations: There will be a Frontier Fiesta connections meeting regarding carnival booths at 6 p.m. in the UC's Atlantic Room. Members of organizations interested in having a booth at this year's Fiesta are encouraged to attend.

Art stars: Blaffer Gallery will host Some Assembly Required, a creative fusion of dance, music and visual art by the Pittsburgh-based Attack Theatre at 5:30 p.m. in the gallery. Admission is free.
