UH, Methodist forge
partnership
The UH System and The Methodist Hospital
signed a 30-year agreement Tuesday to expand their biomedical research
and develop health capabilities and education programs, putting UH a step
closer to becoming a "Tier I" research institution.
Successful self-starter gives
advice
As part of the 2005 Distinguished
Speaker Series, David Saperstein, one of Forbes' 400 richest people in
America in 2002, will speak to UH students, faculty and staff Feb. 28 about
his experience starting a successful business.
SFAC begins hearings process
The Student Fees Advisory Committee
will begin hearings for fee-funded groups today -- a process that will
involve millions of dollars.
Third candidate to speak at UH
today
Reed Way Dasenbrock, dean of arts
and sciences at the University of New Mexico and the third provost candidate
to visit UH this spring, will discuss his vision for the University during
a forum this afternoon.
