The UH tennis team hosts Louisiana Tech, Louisiana-Lafayette and Southeastern Louisiana on Friday and Saturday at the John E. Hoff Varsity Tennis Courts.

The Cougars are riding a three-game winning streak after facing three Texas teams. The team is 5-2 this season, with four of the wins being shutouts. Senior Biljana Dimovska leads the team as she looks to continue her 7-0 singles winning streak. Junior Kami Miller also hopes to add on to her 3-0 winning streak and the success of doubles with Senior Diana Martin. Junior Yolandi Terblanche has also been a key winner for the team with a 4-1 record, and freshmen Brianna Bateup and Sarah Reimer have had strong contributions to the team as well. Bateup has played in every match of the year, while Reimer had her first appearance against Praire View A&M and Texas State (Feb. 13) and showed strength with a win in the No. 3 slot.

Louisiana Tech continues on the road after improving to 3-1 for the season with a win against Nicolas State 7-0. Tech has a road record of 1-1 this season with a 7-0 loss to McNeese State, a team that the Cougars defeated 7-0 in the season opener. SLU is 0-2 and has had four of its matches cancelled due to rain. Louisiana-Lafayette is coming off a 5-2 loss to Southern Mississippi, leaving them at 1-2 on the season.

Houston will face Louisiana Tech at 2 p.m. on Friday and then SLU at 10:30 a.m. Saturday and ULL at 3 p.m.
