News Campus Crime Report The following is a partial report of campus crime between Feb. 21 and Saturday. All information is selected from the files of the UH Police Department. The information in italics indicates when the event was reported to UHPD and the event's location. Information or questions regarding the cases below should be directed to UHPD at (713) 743-0600. Assault: 11:37 p.m. Feb. 21, Cullen Oaks Apartments -- A student reported that she was assaulted by a known suspect. Suspect was arrested, and transported and released to Harris County Jail. Suspect was additionally issued Student and Residential Life Referrals. Occurred between 11 and 11:30 p.m. Feb. 21. Fail to comply with requirements when striking an unattended vehicle: 2:30 p.m., Wednesday -- A student reported his unattended vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle and damaged approximately thirty-four days ago. No information required by law was left on the vehicle. Occurred from 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Jan. 18. Theft: 1:10 p.m., Thursday, Technology 1 Room 102-A -- A staff member reported four UH digital cameras were stolen from a supply cabinet. There are no suspects. Occurred between 8:30 p.m. Feb. 16 and 11:30 a.m. Thursday. Minor in possession of alcohol: 10:51 p.m., Friday, Taub Residence Hall -- One visitor was arrested for furnishing alcohol to four minors. The minors were given citations for underage drinking and released to a legal guardian. Occurred at 10:51 p.m. Friday. Assault: 11:53 p.m., Saturday, Cullen Oaks Apartments
-- A student stated an unknown male hit him in the face while
talking on his cellular phone. The investigation is ongoing. Occurred at
11:53 p.m. Saturday.
