UH edges out Owls
in final home game
The Rice men's basketball team crossed
town Wednesday night to face the Cougars at Hoffheinz Pavilion, where the
Owls would eventually drown in a "Sea of Red."
Home court advantage the key
to wins
Forget about the victories over Arizona
and LSU. The biggest game of the season for the UH men's basketball team
came on Wednesday night against crosstown rival Rice in UH's final regular
season home game.
UH set for Time Warner Invitational
The Cougars will participate in the
Time Warner Texas Invitational in Austin, where they will play Texas A&M
Corpus Christi at noon Friday, followed by Mississippi at 2 p.m. In Saturday's
action, UH will take on USA Today-ranked No. 2 Texas at 1 p.m.
Houston, winless on road, heads
to LSU
The Cougars (7-6) will make their
way east to Baton Rouge to visit the Baseball America No. 17-ranked Louisiana
State University Tigers (10-1) at Alex Box Stadium.
