Bears outlast
Cougars in two close ones
The softball team's doubleheader against
NCFA No. 18-ranked Baylor in Waco on Wednesday evening was a tale of two
games: The first game proved to be a pitching duel, and the second turned
out to be an offensive shootout.
Houston wins third consecutive
tournament
The Cougars came into the last round
of Tuesday's Louisiana Classic four strokes back of Baylor University.
The Cougars were able to shoot a 287 to pass up Baylor by five strokes.

regular season finale, the Cougars flew back to Houston for a couple of
