OK, keep going

The Motion City Sound Track concert at the Meridian on March 9 felt more like an OK Go headliner. Motion City's style may be difficult to perform live, but the preview bands were more interesting and exciting than the main event.

OK Go, one of the opening acts, put on a great performance and could only have been better if given more time. The band members' random wallpaper patterns from their LCD projectors, with shirts and ties to match the theme, epitomizes the guys' need to make their own show.

The first two bands, Plain White T's and Spilled Canvas, were also quite talented. The combination with OK Go was a good match, and although OK Go has a spectrum of musical style, these bands fit into the same spectrum, which made for a great pre-show to the OK Go Show.
