Cougars ready for 2nd round of NIT challenge
Missouri State, which finished second in the MVC but did not get the invite to the big dance, will host a 21-9, 9-5 C-USA Houston team with a little something of their own to prove tonight at 7:05 p.m. in the Hammons Student Center in Springfield, Mo.
 

Toreros win series 2-1
The UH baseball team entered Sunday's game against San Diego at Cougar Field looking to avoid being swept in their three-game series, but towards the end, the Cougars found themselves trying to avoid another enemy: the rain.
 

Arizona State toasts Cougar racquets, winning streak
On Saturday, the No. 67 ranked UH tennis team (12-3) tried to improve their 1-2 road record against ranked opponents when it faced No. 12 Arizona State (9-4) at the Whiteman Tennis Center.
 

Golfer awarded sixth place at Border Olympics
UH finished sixth at the Border Olympics held in Laredo all day Friday and Saturday. The Cougars finished at par 72, shooting 883 and snapped a four-game winning streak. 
 

Golden Hurricane pours on Cougars
The UH softball team lost a close battle to Tulsa 3-2 in the opening game of their Conference USA doubleheader on Sunday afternoon at the Donna J. Hardesty Softball Complex.
