OPINION
House should give
DRM facelift
On March 9, a bill was introduced
in the House of Representatives to modify copyright law, making it legal
to circumvent digital restrictions management measures in order to perform
otherwise legal tasks with the information that such DRM protects.
Germany may be on to something
The age to purchase and drink alcohol
changed to 18 from 21 in the United States in 1984 during the Reagan administration.
Since that time, the law has become a 22-year-old mistake.
