Life & Arts Mamet's 'The Woods' opens on campus Cougar Life & Arts staff The UH School of Theatre opens today its adaptation of David Mamet’s The Woods. The student production begins its run at 8 p.m. in the School of Theatre’s Dance Rehearsal Room. The Woods is one of Mamet’s early works about a young couple and what they learn about one another during a weekend in the woods. Philip Hays directs this adaptation, which features theater juniors Nicholas Bogosian and Callina Anderson in the lead roles. The play is also slated to run at 8 p.m. Friday through Sunday in the Dance Rehearsal Room. Admission is free. For more information on the play, call (713) 743-3003.
