Regents speak on
fiscal future
Student tuition and fees for fiscal
year 2007 will increase by nearly 10 percent if the UH Board of Regents
accepts the final recommendations made by the Tuition and Fees Committee
on Wednesday during the first Student Fees Forum.
Panel to discuss closing of gaps
Prominent Texas education advocates
will discuss closing the gaps in the education system when they meet for
the Fourth Biennial Convocation on Public Education, which includes a panel
discussion led by two of the state’s high-ranking education officials.

The deadline to apply for editor in
chief of The Daily Cougar for the Summer and Fall semesters is April 7.
