Campus Spotlight


TODAY

Pronounced "core": University Career Services will host a Peace Corps information session from 8 to 11 a.m. in Room 106, Student Service Center. For more information on the corps, e-mail egannon@peacecorps.gov.

Body worlds: Theology of the Body and CFC Youth Campus Based will hold a discussion at 6 p.m. in the upstairs room of the Catholic Newman Center. For more information, visit www.geocities.com/cfcyouthhouston.

HBSA: The Hispanic Business Students Association will hold a meeting and kick off a case study at 6:45 p.m. in Room 160, Melcher Hall. Dress is business casual. For more information, e-mail hbsa_uh@yahoo.com.

The perfectest: The College Libertarians at UH will hold a general meeting featuring a screening of A More Perfect Union -- America Becomes a Nation, a film on the original Constitution debates, from 7 to 10 p.m. in the UC's Rodeo Room. FRIDAY

Cross your fingers for astronaut: University Career Services will host a workshop on choosing a major featuring career testing from 9 a.m. to noon in Room 106, Student Service Center. Seating is limited; RSVP to Karen Bradshaw at kbradshaw@uh.edu or (713) 743-5094 to receive instructions for completing the assessments. There is a $10 materials fee.
