Piractes just
escape walking the plank
In the first two games of its three-game
series against East Carolina, UH dominated the Pirates with pitching and
hitting, but in the series finale on Sunday, the Cougars could do neither
very well.

UH fares well in Spring Tournament
The Houston Cougars sent four competitors,
freshmen Sasha Schwendenwein, Lauren VanCleave, Andrea Pa'lmai and junior
Szintia Szanto, to the 2006 USA Spring Championships at the King County
Aquatic Center.
Cougars stumble at end of road
vs. SMU
On their final road trip of the season,
the Cougars (16-4) improved their away record to 6-4, but saw their Conference
record drop to 3-1 when they took on New Mexico State and Conference rivals
UTEP and No. 52 SMU this weekend.
