News Campus Crime Report The following is a partial report of campus crime between March 27 and Sunday. All information is selected from the files of the UH Police Department. The information in italics indicates when the event was reported to UHPD and the event's location. Information or questions regarding the cases below should be directed to UHPD at (713) 743-0600. Failure to Comply with Requirements Striking Unattended Vehicle: 2:19 p.m., March 27, Entrance 14 -- A student reported his secured and unattended vehicle was struck by an unknown suspect(s). Occurred between 12:45 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. March 27. Credit Card Abuse: 3:37 p.m., March 28, University of Houston Department of Public Safety -- A student reported his credit/debit card was used by unknown person(s) without effective consent to make purchases. Occurred between an unknown time on Nov. 11 and an unknown time on March 28. Theft: 2:52 p.m., Wednesday, Fine Arts Building -- A staff member reported several March of Dimes charity items were stolen on two occasions from her office. No suspect(s). Occurred between 9:00 p.m. March 22 and 10:40 p.m. Wednesday. Assault: 10:11 p.m., Wednesday, Cambridge Oaks Apartments -- A student reported she was assaulted by her boyfriend. Upon further investigation, it was determined that she was the aggressor. Student and Residential Referrals were issued to the student. Both individuals were released. Occurred at 9:11 p.m. Wednesday. Criminal Mischief: 5:54 p.m. Saturday, Technology Annex --An unknown person removed several screws from two hinges on an exterior door. Occurred at 5:54 p.m. Saturday. Assault: 12:15 a.m., Sunday, Lot 12A -- A visitor was assaulted at the cook off area of Frontier Fiesta by an unknown person. The investigation is ongoing.
