for local award
Three UH art professors are vying
for the Hunting Art Prize worth $50,000.
Healthy summer camp honored
The Texas Public Health Association
will recognize BOUNCE-Lite, a summer camp founded by University researchers
to help elementary and middle school girls learn to eat healthy foods,
as a 2006 Nutrition and Physical Activity Best Practices program at it's
81st annual conference.
Fraternity fund raiser to sell
UH gear
The Delta Sigma Pi fraternity will
sell UH shirts and hats Tuesday through Thursday to raise money for the
March of Dimes charity.
Professor's gene reproduction
research recognized
A UH biology and biochemistry professor
is the recipient of the Houston Leadership and Technology award from the
Houston chapter of the Association of Women in Computing.
