Shedding light on
aneurysms
A UH professor and his team of research
students are combining their efforts with doctors and scientists at the
Methodist Neurological Institute to help detect potentially dangerous brain
aneurysms in patients.
UH's diversity garners notice
UH received another diversity trophy
to put on its mantle in May when it was recognized among the colleges and
universities that award the most degrees to Hispanics.
Nimmer name interim law dean
Raymond Nimmer, a nationally acclaimed
author and professor in the UH Law Center, has been named the center's
interim dean. He will replace Nancy Rapoport, who resigned last month.
Jump program offers incoming freshmen
a leg up
University officials have turned their
attention to improving retention rates and encouraging students to complete
degree plans on time through a program targeting freshmen.
