Activist sparks
heated debate
Nearly 100 UH students protested against
anti-immigration activist Frosty Wooldridge, who was on campus Wednesday
to speak out against a controversial Texas House bill. A group of nearly
100 protesters marched along a grassy patch in Lynn Eusan Park on Wednesday,
showing their opposition to a speech that never came.
No more meal plans at Eric's
When Aramark took over Chartwells'
role as food service provider for UH, it entered into a contract with Eric's
restaurant -- located in the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant
Management -- that changed how students can use their meal plans on campus.
New Orleans colleges coping with
losses
Nearly two months after Hurricane
Katrina left New Orleans in ruins, university officials in Louisiana are
still coping with the loss of faculty, staff and facilities.
