Campus Spotlight


TODAY

Find it: University Career Services will host a job search workshop for international students from 2 to 4 p.m. in Room 106, Student Service Center.

Building trust: The engineering college SGA senators will hold a town hall meeting at 2:30 p.m. in the Commons of the Cullen College of Engineering Building (D). Free pizza will be available.

You're no James Dean, anyway: Cougar PEP will host a Great American Smokeout Tobacco Cessation and General Health Fair from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center Rotunda. Free "quit kits," information and prizes will be given away. 

Brainnnssss: Co-Sign, the UH neurology and neuroscience interest group, will hold a general meeting with refreshments and a guest speaker from 4 to 5 p.m. in the UC's San Jacinto Room. For more information, e-mail co-sign05@hotmail.com.

AASA: The Arab American Student Association will hold a meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the UC Games Room. All students are welcome.

IAESTE: International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience will host an international internship workshop for science, engineering and architecture students from 6 to 7 p.m. in the UC's Lone Star Room. For more information, e-mail iaeste@uh.edu.

Edward Hill, president of the American Medical Association, will give a talk on technology, public health and future leaders in medicine from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Rockwell Pavilion of the M.D. Anderson Memorial Library.
