Long-awaited garage
opens today
The parking garage at
Entrance 1 and Calhoun Road opens today, bringing new retail services and
much-needed parking spaces to campus.
Soccer franchise moves to Houston
Robertson Stadium will soon be home
to Houston's newest professional sports team. The Earthquakes, a Major
League Soccer team based in San Jose Calif., is relocating to Houston because
they are unable to reach an agreement with the city concerning a permanent
stadium.
Students save by shopping online
Some UH students are
fed up with high textbook prices and are trying to save money by purchasing
their books online this semester.
Arts center nears completion after
setbacks
The $4.5 million Lyndall Finley Wortham
Theatre expansion project, known as the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for
the Arts, is slated to be completed by the end of March, six months later
than the predicted completion date set in August.
