Law prof receives
national honors
Raymond Nimmer, Leonard Childs Professor
of Law, is the first faculty member at the UH Law Center to receive the
Fulbright-FLAD Chair in International Commercial Trade and Business Law.
Alumna ready for life in House
The runoff election between two UH
alumnae for a seat in the state House ended in victory for Ana Hernandez,
a 1999 political science graduate. Hernandez won last month's election
with 61 percent of the vote.
UHS gains ground in funding expansion
UH System officials and the city of
Sugar Land made progress during the winter break in planning an expansion
to the UHS at Sugar Land campus.
'True innovator' acknowledged
for interfaith dialogue
The first Interfaith Dialogue and
Peace Awards Ceremony was held Wednesday at the Marriot Galleria to honor
a UH professor for his work in religious studies and social tolerance.
