Cougars gear up
for showdown in Alabama
Fresh off a high-priority win in Hofheinz,
Houston had little to no time to celebrate -- a 13-3, highly athletic,
veteran squad awaits their arrival in Birmingham, Ala.
Cougars must find a way to defend
post for win
The women's basketball team will look
to continue their 4-game Conference USA winning streak with a win against
the Southern Methodist University Mustangs (8-9, 3-2), at Moody Coliseum
at 7 p.m. today in Dallas.
Cougars swim west to face Nevada,
NMSU
The University of Houston swimming
and diving team (7-7, 0-3 Conference-USA) will take a road trip this weekend
to Reno, Nev., to face Nevada (10-1, 5-0 West Atlantic Conference) and
New Mexico State (2-5, 1-4 West Atlantic Conference) at 1 p.m. at Lombardi
Pool.
