One more slips
past Cougars' paws
It was just another day at the office
for the Cougars on Satuday, as their game went down to the wire against
conference rivals UAB.
Hoping for lady luck, Cougars
break even
The Houston Cougars went into Saturday's
swim meet looking to earn their eighth win of the season, the most since
2003-04. The Cougars arrived in Reno, Nev., late Friday night because of
flight problems, almost certainly resulting in fatigue problems.
Established teams cool off this
year
This past weekend, all three remaining
undefeated Mens Div. 1 basketball teams (Duke, Florida, and UConn) bit
the bullet and fell to the harsh face of mortality.
NFL draft outcome might not
please
majority of Texans fans
The Houston Texans stand at a crossroads
right now. To be more exact, they are stuck at the fork in the road with
the top pick in the upcoming NFL draft, trying to decide whether to take
the direction that leads to USC running back Reggie Bush, a move that seems
to be advocated by many NFL top minds and scouts, or trekking toward University
of Texas quarterback and hometown hero Vince Young and pleasing thousands
of eager fans.
Houston drops two in a row,
now faces Tulane on Friday
After suffering a 66-53 loss against
the Southern Methodist Mustangs, the Cougars hit the road again to take
on the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes on Sunday.
