One more slips past Cougars' paws
It was just another day at the office for the Cougars on Satuday, as their game went down to the wire against conference rivals UAB. 
 

Hoping for lady luck, Cougars break even
The Houston Cougars went into Saturday's swim meet looking to earn their eighth win of the season, the most since 2003-04. The Cougars arrived in Reno, Nev., late Friday night because of flight problems, almost certainly resulting in fatigue problems.
 

Established teams cool off this year
This past weekend, all three remaining undefeated Mens Div. 1 basketball teams (Duke, Florida, and UConn) bit the bullet and fell to the harsh face of mortality.
 

NFL draft outcome might not please 
majority of Texans fans
The Houston Texans stand at a crossroads right now. To be more exact, they are stuck at the fork in the road with the top pick in the upcoming NFL draft, trying to decide whether to take the direction that leads to USC running back Reggie Bush, a move that seems to be advocated by many NFL top minds and scouts, or trekking toward University of Texas quarterback and hometown hero Vince Young and pleasing thousands of eager fans.
 

Houston drops two in a row, 
now faces Tulane on Friday
After suffering a 66-53 loss against the Southern Methodist Mustangs, the Cougars hit the road again to take on the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes on Sunday.
