Sports Houston drops two in a row, now faces Tulane on Friday COUGAR SPORTS SERVICES After suffering a 66-53 loss against the Southern Methodist Mustangs, the Cougars hit the road again to take on the Tulsa Golden Hurricanes on Sunday.
Sha'Ratta Hawkins scored a team-high 21 points. She also accounted for seven assists and shot 6-6 from the charity stripe in Houston's loss to UAB. Stephen Pinchback/The Daily Cougar Tulsa handed Houston their second straight conference loss of the new year. The Lady Cougars lost to Golden Hurricanes, 83-55. Tulsa, who entered the game on a three game win streak, opened with a 25-8 run and never relinquished their lead. Houston returns to Hofheinz to face off against Tulane
on Friday at 7 p.m.
