Briles' three-year
record earns extension
The University of Houston has extended
head football coach Art Brilesí contract for two more years, extending
it through 2010.
Cougars content with their mediocrity
Down the stretch in the 2005 season,
UH football head coach Art Briles orchestrated several landmark games,
none more significant than the season finale against crosstown rival, Rice.
Cougars look for spark at Tulane
The UH men's basketball team is on
the road again and looking to improve their 1-3 conference record as they
face Conference USA foe Tulane tonight in New Orleans.
UH finishes season in meet with
Tulane
The Houston Cougars (8-7, 1-3 C-USA)
return home to face a Tulane (0-2, 0-1 C-USA) squad that has faced many
challenges this season. Hurricane Katrina forced the original meeting between
the Cougars and the Green Wave to be rescheduled to 11:30 a.m. this Saturday
at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center Natatorium.
Super XL, while not sexy, will
entertain
Counting down to Feb. 5, there will
be no stories about malcontents and distractions such as Terrell Owens,
Randy Moss and Drew Rosenhaus.
