LIFE & ARTS
Moores kicks off
with tales of love, laughter
If you love all the passion of Desperate
Housewives and all the intrigue of Lost, then you won't want to miss the
Houston premieres of two of the world's most renowned operas as the Moores
Opera Center brings to the stage its productions of Flight and The Turk
in Italy.
'Strikers' offers scores of fun
If there is one thing every gamer
can never get enough of, it's little, cute cartoons beating the tar out
of each other; and in the latest Nintendo sports game, Super Mario Strikers,
there is plenty of cutesy carnage to go around.
'Engines' drive by an abstract
vision
The UH School of Theatre's student
group The Unheard Voices will end its run of Waiting for Engines this weekend.
The play, written by English doctoral candidate Andrew Kozma, is a lesson
in unconformity for those unfamiliar with the unconventional. |
