Bush to deliver State of Union address
President George W. Bush will give his annual State of the Union Address tonight at 8 p.m., and UH political experts expect the address to focus on the Bush administration's triumphs, downplay its weaknesses and strengthen the American people's confidence in the leadership of both Bush and the Republican Party.
 

Layoffs expose bigger problem
The Ford Motor Company recently announced their restructuring plans, which include the laying off of 30,000 employees and the closing of 14 manufacturing plants.
 

UH welcomes UTEP to Hofheinz
The Houston men's and women's track and field teams had a grand showing at the Boise State Athletes Invitational in Nampa, Idaho, on Saturday, winning 12 events.
