Bush to deliver
State of Union address
President George W. Bush will give
his annual State of the Union Address tonight at 8 p.m., and UH political
experts expect the address to focus on the Bush administration's triumphs,
downplay its weaknesses and strengthen the American people's confidence
in the leadership of both Bush and the Republican Party.
Success in a new home
The UH Law Center Immigration Clinic
will honor a courageous portion of the population at the 3rd annual Upcoming
Arrivals Awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hilton Americas.
Workshops seek to discuss child
culture
Experts from all around the country
will visit UH this week to discuss such topics as cartoons, kindergarten
and cookies and milk for "Children's Cultures and Children's Cultural Worlds
-- An Interdisciplinary Workshop."
