Punters deserve
spot in Canton
On Saturday, the Pro Football Hall
of Fame’s Board of Selectors will meet in Detroit on the eve of the Super
Bowl to select the 2006 Hall of Fame inductees from among a class of 15
finalists.
UH looks to extend streak against
ECU
After handing UTEP its first Conference
USA loss of the season in Wednesday night’s 63-57 victory at Hofheinz,
the men’s basketball team will look to make it four in a row at East Carolina
at 4 p.m. Saturday.
UH 1-0 in conference play
The Cougars (3-0, 1-0 C-USA) took
on Southern Miss (0-2, 0-1 C-USA) on Monday at the Terry Willis Courts
at Tatum Park, coming away with a 6-1 win. It was the first time since
2000 Houston has played Southern Miss.
