Campus Spotlight


TODAY

Don’t worry, it’s just a simulation: The Department of Chemical Engineering will host David West of Dow Chemical, who will give a talk titled "Large-eddy Simulation of a Turbulent Jet-stirred Reactor" at 10:30 a.m. in Room W122-D3, Cullen College of Engineering Building 2.

No easy answer: Baptist Student Ministry will hold a discussion forum titled "How Does Anyone Know God Exists?" from 4 to 5 p.m. in the UC’s Rio Grande Room. Tuesday’s session will be the first part of the six-week discussion series on the topic. The forum is not a Bible study; everyone is invited. For more information, e-mail tanabsmintern@gmail.com.

Free-form jazz odyssey: The Student Program Board will host a brown-bag lunch concert featuring a free folk/jazz performance at the UC Satellite. For more information, call (713) 743-5215.

Funny Girls: The Blaffer Gallery, The Women Studies Program and The Women’s Resource Center will host Guerilla Girls on Tour, an internationally acclaimed anonymous theater collective, at 7 p.m. in Dudley Recital Hall in the Fine Arts Building. The show, titled "Feminists are Funny," is free.
