through SMU

The UH softball team fell to 2-4 in
all--time season openers when it dropped a 6-2 decision against No. 19
Florida (2-3), but rebounded with a 1-0 win against Kansas (2-2) on Saturday
at the Cougar Softball Stadium.
UH ends Classic with win over
Texas Tech
In its two previous losses against
Texas Christian and Texas in the Houston College Classic at Minute Maid
Park, the UH baseball team was plagued by its inability to get any offense
going early in those games.
