OPINION
Surveillance cameras
unacceptable
There are some offenses so grievous,
some wrongs so heinous that they will not, nay cannot, be tolerated by
a people. The City of Houston has reached that point.
Laws are for safety, not a challenge
We're all guilty of it -- some more
than others -- yet no one wants to admit it. Most of us commute to school,
and while for some it's a 10-minute drive, for others it takes at least
an hour, sometimes more, to reach the University of Houston.
Ads should better represent audience
From the time you wake to the moment
you lie down, advertisements bombard you without fail. This may seem like
a gross overstatement, but advertisements can even be found in the material
we choose to read.
'Benefits' distract us from
lost lives,
'reasons' for being there
War is necessary, or so we are lead
to believe. Throughout history, war has proven destructive to civilizations.
