Life & Arts

Grab lunch, get scoop on 'Girls!'

COUGAR LIFE & ARTS STAFF

If you still don't know what's been going for the past month at the Blaffer Gallery, Jeanne Scheper, a post-doctoral fellow from the women's studies program, will host a Brown Bag Gallery Tour at noon today at the gallery to discuss its current exhibition.

The Girls!Girls!Girls! tour is centered around the Girls' Night Out exhibition, which opened Jan. 21. The display features the works of several female artists, mainly photographs and videos, that express new issues of femininity and identity.

The exhibition was organized by the Orange County Museum of Art and curated by Deputy Director of Programs and Chief Curator Elizabeth Armstrong and Curator of Contemporary Art Irene Hofmann.

The gallery is located at Entrance 16 off Cullen Boulevard. For more information on the event, visit www.blaffergallery.org or call (713) 743-9530.
