SFAC hearings close
Tuesday
The Student Fees Advisory Committee
met Tuesday for its final day of hearings. Vice President for Student Affairs
Elwyn C. Lee presented a list of recommendations based on funding requests
made by campus organizations and departments.
Student group seeks talent
The Pakistani Student Association
is holding auditions today and Thursday for their talent show fundraiser,
from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the UC's Tejas Room.
Speaker weighs Islam, West
The UH Muslim Student Association
sponsored a lecture Tuesday titled "Freedom of Speech: Islam vs. the West?"
by Islamic scholar and UH alumnus Ubaid Qazi.
