Demons are put to rest after a 12-3 slashing
The hot winter night steamed up the Cougar bats as they defeated both of their Demons -- their pitching mishaps and Northwestern State University -- in a 12-3 victory Wednesday at Cougar Field.
 

UH adds one good win to a long season
After getting their rears handed to them by Arizona State in a three-game sweep over the weekend, the UH baseball team needed something to take its mind off of its recent troubles.
 

Schedule for '06 brings mix of new faces, familiar foes
In the 2005 season, the UH football team broke tradition when it played crosstown-rival Rice in the last game of the regular season instead of the first, as Rice had become a new member of Conference USA. 
 

Men's basketball and UH gear up for rematch
While enjoying its longest winning streak since 1993, the men's basketball team is also taking pleasure in the longest break it has had since mid-December.

Lady Cougars meet their match at Texas A&M
The Cougars (10-3) saw an end to their 10-game winning streak as No. 8 Texas A&M managed to score the winning runs late in both doubleheader games, claiming 7-2 and 4-1 wins Wednesday at College Station.
