TODAY Hands off my intellect: The Law Center's Institute for Intellectual Property and Information Law will host an intellectual property lecture featuring Stanford professor Lawrence Lessig at 10 a.m. in the Rockwell Pavilion in the M. Better late than never: The Department of Chemical Engineering will host Manolis Doxastakis of the University of Wisconsin, who will give a talk titled "A Molecular View of Model Membranes …" at 10:30 a.m. in Room W122-D3, Cullen College of Engineering. SATURDAY Safe, not sorry: The Collegiate Cancer Council will host a skin cancer screening from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Health Center. The screening is free for faculty, staff and students with UH IDs. CCC is also looking for businesses willing to donate prizes for a raffle that will take place at the event.
