Life & Arts Big-name comedians to perform at UH by DANTE EGLIN
Nationally-known comedians will look for laughs during the Student Program Board's second annual LMAO Comedy Show from 7 to 10 p.m. tonight in the University Center's Houston Room. Steve Brown, Benji Brown and headliner Damon Williams are scheduled to perform. "We wanted to give students an opportunity to take their minds off of classes and the things they deal with every day and just come out and have a good time," David Southall, SPB chairman, said. Steve Brown has been featured on Def Comedy Jam series and BET's ComicView. Benji Brown has also appeared on ComicView and co-hosts The Big Lip Bandit Morning Show on south Florida's WEDR-FM. Williams has hosted the syndicated television show Showtime at the Apollo and in 1999 was the opening act for the popular Kings of Comedy Tour.
