Man arrested at
UH Library
A man was arrested Friday on suspicion
of viewing child pornography on a computer at the M.D. Anderson Library,
the UH Police Department said.
UHPD puts in Taser request
UH Police Department chief Malcolm
Davis has submitted a proposal to equip UHPD officers with Tasers, and
a decision on the request is expected to be made within two weeks.
University loses 'towering individual'
Ken Kennedy, a renowned computer science
expert and distinguished adjunct professor of computer science at the University,
died of pancreatic cancer Feb. 7 at M.D. Anderson Hospital at the age of
61.
