Schwarzenegger right to call out Limbaugh Rush Limbaugh has been the conservative voice of America for nearly two decades. Many republicans and supporters credit him for the party's ability to gain the majority of the seats in congress, and his self-titled radio show has been labeled as one of the most influential in America. Those accolades obviously do not impress California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Tuesday, the man once known for taking down seemingly unstoppable adversaries on the big screen took shot at the gladiator of the airwaves. "Limbaugh is irrelevant," Schwarzenegger said on "The Today Show", "I'm not his servant. I'm the people's servant of California." With an average weekly audience of around 13 million, Limbaugh has made a name for himself by being outspoken, verbose and having the guts to tackle the subjects that everyone's thinking about, but are too afraid to talk about. His latest target has been Schwarzenegger. On "The Rush Limbaugh Show", Limbaugh has coined the term "closet liberal" specifically for Schwarzenegger, and question the leadership skills of the republican governor. Schwarzenegger said the first thing that came to his mind on "The Today Show," and he made a valid point. His decisions, nor should the decisions of any other political figurehead be influenced by what one man says. Limbaugh is not concerned with the interest of the California general public. CNN reported that political observers said that Limbaugh is not the dominant radio force he used to be, as evident by Schwarzenegger's comments Tuesday. That may be an improvable claim, however, if more political figures decide to snap back when bitten at by the pit-bull of the airwaves it could become more than a thesis.
