Fair-trade coffee proposal sparks debate
Fair-trade coffee was the topic of heated debate Wednesday during the last meeting of the Student Government Association's outgoing administration.
 

Auburn's final decision grading Gogue expected today
UH President and UH System Chancellor Jay Gogue's visit to Auburn University, where he is the sole finalist for its presidential position, is scheduled to continue today, leading up to the university's decision this afternoon whether to offer him the positions.
 

Gogue, science complex mulled
Faculty members expressed concern over the possible departure of UH President and UH System Chancellor Jay Gogue and the status of the Science and Engineering Research and Classroom Complex at the Spring Faculty Assembly and Faculty Senate meeting at the Elizabeth Rockwell Pavilion on Wednesday.
 

Space pioneer to share wisdom
Col. Eileen Collins, former NASA astronaut and the first woman to command a space shuttle mission, will speak Wednesday about leadership and her experiences in space.
 

Islamic scholar advocates reform at campus event
Writer and Islamic scholar Irshad Manji, author of The Trouble with Islam Today: A Muslim's Call for Reform in Her Faith, discussed the importance of individualism in Islam on Tuesday in the University center.
