News Auburn's final decision on Gogue expected today UH President and UH System Chancellor Jay Gogue's visit to Auburn University, where he is the sole finalist for its presidential position, is scheduled to continue today, leading up to the university's decision this afternoon whether to offer him the positions. Auburn University's Presidential Search Advisory Committee will convene at 3 p.m. for a final vote on whether to recommend Gogue to Auburn's Board of Trustees, which will convene at 4 p.m. to vote on final approval. If Gogue is offered and accepts the position, UH
Board of Regents Chairman Leroy Hermes said UH would move swiftly to find
a temporary replacement and conduct a search for his successor.
