Cougars in need
to some relief
The Cougars have been struck with
almost every imaginable misfortune this season -- poor pitching, shoddy
defense, mental lapses, injuries to key players, etc. So far, that's all
added up to a mediocre 11-12 record.
Houston hopes wins keep racking
up
After sweeping defending Conference
USA champion Tulsa in a three-game series last weekend, Houston hopes to
achieve more of the same this weekend against Memphis.
Kolb's place in draft up in
the air
Though the scenario is not totally
out of the question, it's no longer likely that former UH quarterback Kevin
Kolb will be drafted by the Houston Texans.
Solberg calls it quits to coach
club team
Soccer head coach Bill Solberg announced
Wednesday that he will resign to take a coaching position on the senior
staff at FC Milwaukee, where he worked from 1997-98. |
