Spots open on UC board

COUGAR NEWS STAFF

The University Center Policy Board is looking for three students to fulfill at-large membership positions, Director of the UC and Associated Facilities Keith Kowalka said. 

The UCPB assists the UC director in developing regulations and long-range plans for the UC, including programs, services, operating policies, reservation policies and changes to the facilities.

One position runs from this summer to April 2008, and the other two continue until April 2009, Kowalka said.

Students on the 14-member board, which includes faculty and staff, will have the opportunity to help influence the direction of the UC and UC Satellite, Kowalka said. 

Members will be expected to attend two-hour meetings each month. 

Employees of the UC and associated facilities are ineligible for the student position.
