UH to play Baylor
in grudge match on the road
When Houston and Baylor last squared
off back on Feb. 9 in the Houston College Classic at Minute Maid Park,
the Cougars walked away smiling with a 4-2 victory over a young, largely
inexperienced Bears squad. Since then, smiles have been hard to come by
for both squads.
Owls are still searching for
that elusive spark
With a 22-10 overall record and 5-1
mark in Conference USA, Rice's 2007 season is off to a decent start. For
the most part, Rice skipper Wayne Graham has an above-average team on his
hands.
UH is slowly gaining national
exposure
In the college revenue sports --
football and basketball -- three things generally determine a university's
success: televised games, attendance and merchandise sales among fans.
So many March memories to savor
The month of March has come and gone,
and there have been many unforgettable moments in several different sports.
