UH gets the last
laugh in series finale
Houston finished its three-game series
against Alabama-Birmingham with an exclamation point, running through the
Blazers in a 10-3 victory in Sunday's series finale a Cougar Field.
Cougars leave El Paso with series
win
After suffering an embarrassing 17-1
loss to Texas-El Paso in the second game of Friday's doubleheader, the
UH softball team could have played Saturday's rubber match with the memory
of that drubbing fresh on their minds and mentally checked out of the series
finale.
Cougars still unsure of their
quarterback
For the first time in four years,
the question of who will be the Cougars' starting quarterback next season
could not be easily answered at the annual Red-White game Saturday morning.
Houston makes some good time
at Texas Relays
The Houston track and field team locked
up four NCAA Regional marks at the Texas Relays, which concluded Saturday
afternoon.
Poor weather and a loss to UTEP
spoil weekend
Due to cold and wet weather conditions,
the Cougar tennis team had to cancel its Saturday match with Southern at
John E. Hoff Courts.
