Seminar addresses
plight of migrants
A two-day seminar will examine the
effects of last year's immigrant-rights marches calling the nation's attention
to immigrant issues from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the
University Hilton.
Art students feel forgotten
The South Park Annex building, home
of the UH sculpture program, is isolated, poorly maintained and a reflection
of how the administration views the program, students say.
Program helps international students
adjust
Whether it is because of a new language
and new culture or just homesickness, international students may have a
difficult time adjusting to a new life in the United States.
