University gets
software upgrade
The student administration portion
of UH's upgrade to the new self-service software PeopleSoft 8.9 finished
March 15, and project leaders say the switch will offer new services as
students prepare to register for Fall 2007 classes.
Officials warn of shady salesmen
School of Communication officials
are warning students and community members that traveling magazine subscription
retailers have been visiting UH and area neighborhoods over the past week
claiming to be students raising money for a scholarship.
Rosen slams policy draft
Student Government Association President
David Rosen said at Wednesday's evening meeting that a proposed policy
for Fall 2007 requiring students to pay a fee for late registration would
burden students.
