News Campus Crime Report The following is a partial report of campus crime between Friday and Sunday. All information is selected from the files of the UH Police Department. The information in italics indicates when the event was reported to UHPD and the event's location. Information or questions regarding the cases below should be directed to UHPD at (713) 743-0600. Assault: 2:10 a.m. Friday, Entrance 4 -- Two students reported someone assaulted them after an event held at the University Center. Occurred at 2:10 a.m. Friday. Traffic offense: 1:08 p.m. Friday, Lot 12A -- A student reported someone struck and damaged her parked and unattended vehicle. Occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday. Harassment: 4:21 p.m. Friday, UC Underground -- A UH student reported someone entered her place of employment and harassed her because of a previous off-campus incident. Occurred at 2:30 p.m. Friday. Theft: 5:39 p.m. Friday, Lot 20A -- A UH student reported someone stole her unattended and unsecured purse and its contents. There are no witnesses or suspects. Occurred between 3 and 3:40 p.m. Friday. Recovered stolen vehicle: 12:12 a.m. Saturday, Cullen Oaks Apartments -- A truck, reported stolen through Houston Police Department, was recovered from the Cullen Oaks parking garage. There is a suspect in this case. Occurred at 12:12 a.m. Saturday. Burglary: 2:03 p.m. Sunday, Science & Research I -- A staff member reported someone illegally entered an office suite that was not open to the public and stole property. An investigation is ongoing. Occurred between 5:25 p.m. Friday and 2:03 p.m. Sunday. Evading arrest: 4:52 p.m. Sunday, 3800 Wheeler -- Houston Police Department vehicles were involved in a pursuit which then came through the west fence of Cullen Oaks Apartments. The visitor crashed his vehicle at an off-campus address and was arrested for felony evading and possession of a controlled substance. Occurred between 4:25 and 5:05 p.m. Sunday. Sexual assault: 9:57 a.m. Monday, Bates Residence Hall -- A UH student reported she was sexually assaulted while on a date with a known individual not affiliated with the University. An investigation is ongoing. Occurred between 1 and 3 a.m. Monday. Possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia: 11:34 p.m. Monday, Lot 4A -- Two UH students were issued Student Life Referrals for smoking marijuana and for possession of a glass pipe.
